First: Back up your contacts before doing any thing for its going to be lost after formatting:

Some problems for which you need to format:

1. Blank screen phone unable to reboot.

2. Phone only able to boot-up to “Nokia” word screen.

3. Install some program but not able to uninstall it after that.

4. Unable to delete unwanted files on C drive.

Do a Full phone formatting on your 6600! As steps below,

1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery power left.

2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card.

3. Switch-off your 6600 phone.

4. Press and hold * keys; 3 dial key, green key (call / send) , and then press the power

On/off to switch on the 6600 phone.

Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a

Formatting word screen show!

5. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your

6600 will back to original system and factory setting.

Deep Reset *#7370# removes everything

NOKIA  9210/9210i

Remove the sim card, memory card, battery.

So it means, the phone is off.

Now, put the battery back.

Wait for the start up image to come out ( nokia hands )

Then press buttons: control, shift, F then wait until finish…

The last two digits are the year. If the year is 95, the first two digits are the month. For 96 the first two digits are the week of the year.

Nokia 7700 and 7710

In case of serious problems with your Nokia 7700/7710 (if e.g. your phone doesn’t start or it is very unstable) use the following method to reformat the device. Please, be aware that this function brings your phone back to a factory state, i.e. it removes all applications, files and data.

1   Disconnect the charger and remove the battery.

2    Wait for about ten seconds and insert the battery to start the device.

3    When you see the NOKIA welcome screen, immediately press and hold two lower keys on the left side (the [= key

and the Menu key) and shortly after that press and hold the second key from the top on the right side on the phone.

Confirm that you want to format. Formatting will start.
